Ages 4–8

The Junior Shooters program is the perfect introduction to soccer for young players ages 4–8.

Over 8 weeks, players will have fun, stay active, and build confidence while learning the fundamentals of the game in a positive, age-appropriate environment. The program also prepares players who are ready to take the next step into competitive soccer with Shooters Soccer Club.

Program Leadership

The Junior Shooters program is led by Stephen Blake, former Fiji National Team player with over 20 years of youth soccer player development experience.

Stephen is supported by former collegiate player Hugo Champalloux and former professional player Ivan Afanasiev.

This season features a new player development curriculum designed by Stephen Blake, giving every player a structured pathway to improve while having fun.

Two professionally led training sessions each week

Program Details

Start Date: Monday August 3rd, 2026 (Fall Season)

Length: 8 weeks

Practice Days: Mondays & Wednesdays 4:30 PM-5:30 PM

Optional Game Days: TBD 4:30-5:30 PM

OPTIONAL: Inter Squad Games ($40)

Six Inter-Squad Games: (this is separate and optional from the Juniors registration which includes M and W training. Games begin after the second week of training)

A Pathway to Competitive Soccer

Junior Shooters is more than an introductory soccer program—it’s the first step in the Shooters Soccer Club player development pathway. Our goal is to help every child build confidence, develop a love for the game, and create a strong technical foundation that prepares them for future success, whether they continue playing recreationally or move into competitive soccer.
